I’ve been working in automotive electronics, diagnostics, and vehicle programming for a long time, but I had a major gap when it came to firmware editing.
I completed the WinOLS training course and gained a solid understanding of how to work with the editor and technical documentation such as DAMOS and Funktionsrahmen. I learned how to identify and build maps, understand their purpose, and apply proper editing strategies.
The course is very well structured — the learning process is step by step and easy to follow. Of course, not everything is easy to absorb right away, but you can always reach out to Stanislav for help or go through the lesson again.
These courses won’t turn you into a top-level calibrator overnight — you still need time and practice to gain experience. But after the training, you clearly understand the process and what you are doing.
There is also a forum where you can ask questions, get advice from more advanced calibrators who have completed the training, and access a valuable knowledge base.
I want to express my gratitude to Stanislav and the entire team for the work they’ve done and the knowledge they provide. I had tried several times to understand this topic on my own, but always ran into confusing issues and postponed it. Only through this course did I gain enough knowledge to move forward confidently.
During the training, I also reviewed firmware files I had previously purchased and discovered many serious mistakes in them. Now I can at least properly analyze the software already installed in a vehicle — and at most, create my own.
I highly recommend this course to anyone who works in this field or plans to. Yes, it costs money — but it saves an enormous amount of time. And time is money we simply don’t have yet.
Wishing everyone success and prosperity.
